FAQ & Shop Policies

QUALITY GRADE SYSTEM:
Due to the handmade nature of enamel pins, some will have minor cosmetic flaws, such as surface scratches or dull spots. In general there will be natural variations and slight flaws that can occur during the production process.
Unless otherwise noted all pins are "Standard Grade". The exception to this is preorders, PREORDERS are first come first serve Collector Grade and then are Standard Grade.
  • COLLECTOR GRADE – Pins for collectors. Flawless pins entirely free of errors and/or defects.
  • STANDARD GRADE – To be worn and collected. Free of major defects but MAY have small specks in enamel, air bubbles, minor scratches/scuffing. Standard orders may be filled as collector's grade, but this is not guaranteed. 
  • B GRADE – Budget-friendly pins. These pins have majorly visible defects/flaws; multiple/large specks of enamel, missing enamel, scuffing, and/or discoloration.
EXAMPLES OF STANDARD GRADE FLAWS:
  • Slight discoloration on metal plating.
  • Slight scuffing or scratches on metal plating (more common on hard enamel pins).
  • Light scratches on enamel
  • Small bubbles, dents, or scratches in enamel fill
  • Low-fill on enamel in small areas
EXAMPLES OF B-GRADE FLAWS:
  • Chipped metal plating
  • Large dents or scratches on metal plating
  • Wrong enamel fill colors
  • Missing Enamel in any area
  • Low-fill on enamel in large areas
  • Excessive bubbles, scratches, or dents in enamel
  • Discoloration or staining of enamel

PREORDERS
Preorders guarantee you get an item that may sell out. Also, it helps put the design into production.
The estimated time of arrival for preorders is listed under the description of the item(s). You will be informed once your preorder has shipped.
If you purchase an in-stock item with your preorder, the in-stock item will be held and ship with your preorder; if you would like to receive the in-stock item right away, please order it separately.


GENERAL SHIPPING POLICY

I ship worldwide daily, most orders are expected to ship within 24-hours.
We are not responsible for shipping information that was entered incorrectly. If you make a mistake please contact us immediately at contact@electricpincompany.com and we will do our best to accommodate your order.
Tracking is provided for most countries. If you feel a package is lost, please email contact@electricpincompany.com
Tracking for International packages usually stops when it gets to the destination country.

 

DOMESTIC SHIPPING

 

FIRST-CLASS:
Flat rate $3 shipping on all domestic first-class orders.
Your order will be shipped using our standard First-Class shipping method. Most domestic orders arrive within a 3-7 business day period, at which time you will receive a delivery confirmation email. Times vary depending on carrier and location; please allow for additional time during peak holiday periods.

 

FIRST-CLASS INSURED:
Selecting the INSURED shipping option at checkout will insure your package if it is lost or damaged, both in the U.S. and Internationally. It will guarantee a replacement (or refund if sold out).

 

PRIORITY MAIL:
Get your items faster. With the Priority Mail service, packages are delivered in 1-3 business days based on where it’s being sent. All priority mail orders are also insured.

 

MEDIA MAIL:
Selecting this option will ship your order without tracking at a discounted rate; only available for certain items. If your package is lost due to selecting this option, Electric Pin Company is not liable nor will your order be refunded or replaced. You will receive a shipping confirmation email when your package is shipped.

 

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
We offer standard $8 Flat Rate international shipping. Please allow anywhere from 7-25 days to receive your order, additionally any duties incurred at customs are the assumed responsibility of the buyer.

International tracking is NOT offered. Your order will be shipped via an internationally non-trackable envelope in order to make shipping more affordable; it will be tracked until it leaves the U.S. but that is all.

LOST PACKAGES
On rare occasions, packages can be lost or mis-delivered by mail carriers. We have no control over this issue. We cannot and will not refund money if the package is lost by USPS unless you select the insured shipping option. If you think your package may have been lost please do not hesitate to contact me at contact@electricpincompany.com and I will try my best to contact USPS and find your package.
